We conduct internal impact assessments for all major AI features before launch and after significant updates. Results are summarized publicly.

  • Every AI-generated summary is clearly labeled: "AI-generated. Verified against official legislative text."
  • Direct links to official sources (LEGISinfo, provincial legislature portals) on every bill.
  • Confidence scores and "Report an Issue" buttons available on all AI outputs.

  • Hybrid AI models grounded in official bill text (RAG) to reduce hallucinations.
  • Human oversight on high-impact topics such as housing, taxes, and healthcare.

  • Regular audits for partisan, regional, linguistic (English/French), and demographic bias.
  • Non-partisan by design. No political funding or affiliation influences outputs.
  • Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA+) style reviews where relevant.

  • Full compliance with PIPEDA and applicable privacy laws.
  • Sentiment analysis uses only aggregated public data; no individual tracking without consent.
  • Users have full control over their topic preferences and data.

  • Easy "Report Inaccuracy" or "Disagree with Summary" tools on every card.
  • Human team members review and can override AI outputs when issues are reported.
  • All official legislative decisions remain with Parliament, provincial legislatures, and citizens.
